Rosie Delight is a burlesque artiste with a problem. She has a demon inside her brain and it is slowly taking over and twisting her body. As she faces the bleak possibility of living out her days hiding in a cave, Rosie filters her current experiences through the lens of her past, the people who surround her and the isolation that is slowly enveloping her. Raw, funny and beautiful, this show will fuse theater and burlesque in a new way, with drama, dancing, yelling, magic, neuroscience, comedy, blood, go go, tragedy, striptease, more drama, back-up dancers, singing, small explosions, ninjas, implied nudity, crying, infotainment, utter joy, brain surgery and possibly some puppetry all wrapped up in one 45 minute time slot with one very magnetic performer (and a few of her friends). Don’t miss this whirlwind journey through burlesque and disability and the stuff hiding behind it all.
