VIBF Calendars Now Available

The VIBF Calendars are now available for sale! Last night we had our "Calendars Girls" burlesque show to launch the new 2012 calendars.
By all accounts, the show was a huge success. We had a great line up featuring a cast of performers who are all pictured in the calendar. The attendance was great, and we sold lots of the beautiful new calendars!
The numbers are in, and The Calendar Girls Burlesque Show raised over $2000 for the VIBF! Thank you to all our supporters!
How to Buy a Calendar
We will have VIBFA Membership tables set up at most burlesque shows in Vancouver over the next few months where we will be selling calendars and memberships. Buy yours as soon as possible because we have a limited quantity!
Calendars are $15 for VIBFA members, and $20 for non-members.
Of course all the proceeds from the calendar sales go towards producing the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, so not only do you get a beautiful calendar, you support the festival!

Video clinic for applicants

All applicants for the 2012 festival must submit video with their applications. But don't fret!
Remember that video quality will not be a consideration for judging applications. You can video your act just using an iPhone or basic camera in your living room, or wherever there's enough light. Or sign up for our video clinic!
Video Clinic For any performers who need help filming video of acts they would like to submit for the 2012 festival, a clinic will be held January 21 from 11am-5pm at the Chicken Coop in Vancouver.
In exchange for a minimum donation of $10.00, the VIBF will film your act and post it online for you to submit. For more information or to book a time slot, please contact Sparkle Plenty.
